Next Audition

Auditions to join the Winter/Spring, 2012, session, beginning in January, will be held on January 3 at Mason Christian Village Centre, 411 Western Row Road in Mason, OH.  Please contact the directors to schedule an audition date and time. An audition form can also be mailed or e-mailed.

Junior Orchestra audition requirements:  One octave scales:  C, G, D, A, F; one prepared solo, Suzuki book 1-2 or equivalent; sightreading.

Cadet Orchestra audition requirements:  One octave scales:  C, D, F, Two octave scales:  G, A; one prepared solo, Suzuki Book 3 or equivalent; one semester previous orchestra experience; sightreading.

Senior Orchestra audition requirements:  Two octave scales:  C, G, D, A, E, F, Bb; one prepared solo, Suzuki Book 4 or equivalent; two semesters previous orchestra experience; sightreading.

Next Performances

Tuesday, November 22:  NCYO performs at 7:00 p.m. at the Mason Christian Village Centre Chapel.  Refreshments following.  Admission is free.

Friday, December 2:  Christmas in Mason, 6-8 p.m. at inside Yost Pharmacy on Main St. (Route 42) in downtown Mason.  Free, refreshments.  Chamber ensembles provide Christmas carols.

Sunday, December 4:  NCYO Senior Orchestra performs at the 7th annual Warren County Christmas Concert.  7:00 p.m. Lebanon Presbyterian Church. 123 N. East St in Lebanon.  Refreshments following.  Admission is free.

Friday, December 16:  NCYO Senior Orchestra performs at the Mt. Auburn Christmas Party, 5:45-6:30 p.m.  Private event.

Sunday, December 18:  NCYO is on the radio 10-11 a.m!  The oldies station.

Tuesday, December 20:  NCYO Junior, Cadet, and Senior Orchestras perform at the Neiderman Christmas Lights display, 7:00 p.m.  Admission is free.
